Curriculum Design

Over the course of my career, I have sought out opportunities to collaborate with other teachers and develop new instructional materials. Below is some more information on those projects and links to materials produced. I have also recently started selling ready-to-implement materials via the website Teachers Pay Teachers.

I also have experience writing assessments. Between 2010 and 2015, I developed multiple-choice and constructed-response test items for various courses and subjects, as well as generating diagrams, maps, and other graphic content to be used with the questions. Finished items were distributed to state and local education departments for use in the classroom via TE21. Contact me for samples or more information.

Fulbright Summer Seminar Abroad to Mexico

In the summer of 2011, I participated in U.S. Fulbright Summer Seminar Abroad for teachers, which included a five-week visit to Mexico, studying culture, history, and the bilateral relationship with the United States. I focused on the areas where Mexican and United States history intersect, and developed a series of lessons in response
